Why is Australian youth unemployment so high?

Australia is now one of the most expensive countries in the world to buy or rent a home, and housing affordability is at an all time crisis.

As Australia grows by 370 000 people each year, this should come as no surprise. This inflated demand for housing, in conjunction with tax breaks such as negative gearing, lax foreign ownership laws, and the influence of property developers on politicians, has created a Ponzi scheme in the property industry and is pricing generations of young people from ever affording their own home.
