Stephen Saunders

Stephen Saunders grew up in Perth WA and has degrees from UWA (B.Sc. Hons) and McMaster University, Ontario (MA).
He worked in the Australian Public Service for 25 years, mostly at senior levels in employment and training policy, and he consulted for 10-12 years after that.
He was a long-time book reviewer (Canberra Times and West Australian) and community radio announcer. More recently, he has written numerous articles for independent media, on population, environment, politics, music.
His grave concern is that Australian population policy is profoundly undemocratic, poor economic policy, and environmentally stupid, with no relief in sight. This is a link to a recent and typical article:

Stephen also follows fiction, art, music, movies, sport, and native flora. He is a long-term member of Australian Native Plants Society Canberra, also their current President.
