VIC/TAS Branch President and Representative

Daniel was recently elected Branch President of the VicTas committee. An active member of SPA since 2015, he is driven by a deep concern for the impact of human actions on both wild and farmed animals. While his background is not academic, his passion for the organization is clear in his commitment to supporting its members. Daniel works as a seafarer, serving as both a deckhand and cook on various vessels. His time off allows him to dedicate himself to SPA, and he also enjoys spending his free time foil surfing. His involvement with SPA has included organizing stalls at events such as World Vegan Day, the Degrowth Network Festival, and a Frankston over-development concert fundraiser. He also helped organize a film screening hosted by SPA on being child-free, as well as numerous social gatherings.
