Mathisha is a marketing professional with over 20 years of experience in digital marketing and communications and corporate governance gained from leading Australian, UK, Dubai and Sri Lankan conglomerates. She avidly supports restoring nature and tackling the leading causes of nature’s decline, particularly the overpopulation crisis. In her quest to have a meaningful impact, she became a member of SPA, and through SPA’s social media channels on LinkedIn and Instagram, she strives to raise awareness about Australia’s population growth’s consequences.

Mathisha voices, “We are living in a unique time where we have the opportunity to spread a strong argument on how our actions are causing irreparable harm to the planet and what we must do to halt it. It is crucial for us to take action now, as future generations may not have the same opportunity. With the entire world accessible to us, we can draw inspiration from influential individuals, stay updated on current events, and follow organisations dedicated to saving our planet. From that, we can find inspiration and actively engage in making a positive impact on our planet”.
Mathisha holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK. She is currently pursuing her second Master’s Degree in Marketing and Digital Communications at Monash University, Australia. She is also a certified ISO 14001:2004 Environment Management System Auditor.
