Corey Bradshaw presents to Adelaide meeting September 2025

On September 10th 2025,  the Sustainable Population Australia (SPA) South Australia and Northern Territory branch hosted a public meeting in Adelaide: “Human population and its effect on quality of life, equality, extinctions, and climate change” with Professor of Global Ecology Corey Bradshaw from Flinders University.

He showed that slow-growing or declining populations do not compromise economic performance, productivity, or income equality. Evidence was presented that increasing human populations worldwide compromise human health and well-being, while simultaneously eroding biodiversity and worsening the pace of climate change.
