Population is so often overlooked by the mainstream media,  so it is especially refreshing to see it taken up by a famous television host.

This is not the only time that USA’s Bill Maher has broached the issue of overpopulation.  However the response to this latest video has been staggering,  with nearly one million views in under two days since its release.

It is clear that there is a huge concern for overpopulation in the broader community and an appetite for its broader debate.
